On June 3-5, 2024, the first Meeting of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Scientific and Industrial Complex of the Russian Railways Holding Company (SIC RZD) was held in Noginsk. It was attended by young and promising scientists and specialists representing such scientific institutes as JSC NIIAS, JSC VNIKTI and JSC IERT, as well as structural divisions of JSC Russian Railways.

All participants had an intense programme, including interesting and informative lectures, meetings with the management of JSC "Russian Railways" and the Railway Research Institute, intellectual and sports events, as well as brainstorming, the purpose of which was to develop future activities aimed at increasing the level of involvement of young employees in the railway industry.

Railway Research Institute, represented by Anna E. Redina, specialist of the Scientific and Publishing Department, provided the participants of the event with the opportunity to get acquainted with the printed products of the Institute and choose the literature of interest. The works of the Railway Research Institute, collections of our scientists in various areas of railway science, as well as issues of the Russian Railway Science Journal were presented.

Despite the tight schedule of the event, our exhibition did not go unnoticed among young scientists from organisations of scientific and industrial complex, and the invited speakers highly appreciated the work of our colleagues.
