On 15 May in the frame of the exhibition schedule “ELECTROTRANS” will be carried out the panel discussion «Information security for subways», the organizators are RUSSOFT with International association Metro.

Transport infrastructure for «Smart city» significantly bases of network communication and information technology. That is why smart transport systems become “”По этой причине «умные» транспортные системы становятся «obvious targets» for cyber threats, whose consequences reflect not only on economy but also on the health and safety of citizens. Because of this, it is important to make cyber security a part of all projects of smart transport at the beginning of their development.

Information security gets the higher importance in subways –as it is an enterprise with предприятии с increased threat level.

At the panel session representatives of leading transport structures, subways, undertakings of urban passenger transport and IT-directors of service companies will discuss:

• Risks assessment, possible «point of entry»  and weak points of subway information systems;  
• Modern technologies that provide cyber security of subway communication networks (Big Data, blockchain, quantum communications);
• Elaboration of standards for information security on behalf of State regulator; 
• Progressive global experience in sphere of cyber security providing «smart urban transport ».

Speakers:

1. Pavel Burdovitcin, PROMT, will deliver a speech about difficulties of personal data protection and providing security for international communication in subways, risks of online services application in subways work;
2. Oleg Kravchuk, Security Code, will tell about progressive global experience in cyber security providing « smart urban transport »;
3. Aleksander Prilepskiy, Attack Killer (InfoWatch), will review leading global experience in sphere of cyber security providing «smart urban transport», a necessity to attract security officials at the stage of security systems designing and robotics of routine security processes  ;
4. Илья Тимофеев, Academy IT, will tell about information security of enterprise employees in transport industry (subways) in terms of modern cyber threats/ The speaker will tell about modern opportunities to increase qualification of information security and relative themes with the use of E-Learning, he will demonstrate practical example of digital educational course to higher knowledge concerning information security in subways;
5. Stanislav Fenesko, Group-IB, in his report will be overview of innovative approach to detection of complex attacks and tracing cyber threats.

Also invited to participate in the discussion: representatives from Department of transport safety and specialized programs and Department of development program Mintrans of Russia; Representatives of transport security Rostransnadzor; Representatives from subways of Saint Petersburg, Moscow and other Russian cities and neighboring countries.
