From 24 until 25 of March 2020 in Voronezh will take place annual conference and exhibition “ITS regions”.

The main theme of the conference is – regions readiness to realize tasks for implementation of intellectual transport systems in urban communities, including cities over 300 000 population in the frame of national project “Safety and quality roads”.

The key issues for creation of intellectual transport systems in regions are integration of implemented solutions in the united technological and organizational architecture, forming of complex regional programs for ITS developing and creation of prerequisites and conditions for the systemic development of digital technologies in transport with possible participation of budgetary and extra-budgetary investment sources.

At the conference will be discussed questions concerning information and navigation technologies development, increasing of road safety level, maintenance and management for road infrastructure, staff training.

Conference “ITS regions” is the annual regional communication platform for discussions, exchange of experience and concerted action in sphere of digital technologies between customers and suppliers of decisions. Among permanent participants of the conference there are - representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Federal Road Agency and subordinate organizations, State Company "Avtodor", Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Russian Interior Ministry, representatives of regional ministries and institutions, transport department and road industry, commercial companies, experts.

As is customary in the frame of conference there will be an exhibition of latest technologies in intellectual transport systems sphere where leading companies would present transport monitoring systems, equipment for photo-  and video-fixing of traffic violations, systems in sphere of passenger traffic management and fare payment, telematics platforms, etc..

The conference and exhibition “ITS regions” aim to promote digital development in transport industry, by combining efforts of business, customers and government. These will lead to development of road and transport infrastructure, will ensure its functionality, safety, efficiency and competitiveness.
