This year congress-exhibit industry due to pandemia of the Coronovirus has trapped in a difficult situation. Because of the implemented restriction measures during spring period a lot of exhibitions and conferences were cancelled or moved on next year. In compliance with normalization of нepidemiological situation the resume of congress-exhibition events in August-September is expected. Moreover the majority part of the areas of exhibition centers in Moscow were used for temporary hospital accommodation and are expected to remain in reserve until the end of this year.

For many years the exhibition выставка Metal-Expo has been held in pavilion 75 VDNHa which at present also remains one of the backup sites for the Covid-19. Under the circumstances the executive staff of VDNHa has offered an alternative variant of exhibition areas the exhibition will take place in the 55, 57 pavilions and on open areas of VDNHa.

Because of limitations of pavilions 55, 57 and within requirements of с учетом требований Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights under measures for prevention during exhibition events, reducing risks of infection and spreading of virus in Moscow the sizes of exhibition stands inside pavilions will be limited. Areas for exhibition stands on open platforms next to pavilions will be available without limitations. «Even in such tight conditions we will try to accommodate everyone who is looking forward to the traditional forum", - commented on the situation Alexander Romanov, Co-Chair of the organizing committee. Despite of emerged difficulties the forum will be held in planned data from 10 till 13 November and become key ground where priority directions in manufacturing, equipment and technology of metal industry will be presented also there will be defined development strategies for  future.

In the frame of Metal-Expo’2020 due to support of METALLURGMASH and Russian Engineering Union exhibited their latest solutions at the event.

Traditionally Autumn week of metals in Moscow will be opened by International conference Russian Metal and Steel Market on 9 November. Traditionally, the Metal-Expo venue will host a meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Metallurgical Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, where the current situation in metallurgy and topical problems of the industry will be discussed.

According to tradition on forum will be summarize the year and noted the main achievements in metallurgy and leaders in the industry will be named and awarded.

As part of the exhibition will be a ceremony of winners award, the owners of gold and silver medals of the 26th International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo’2020 for high-technological developments of equipment and products of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, for the best publication of metallurgical companies and research organizations, as well as the winners of the "Young Scientists" competition.

The forum will summarize the results of the contests   for the Best Russian Warehouse, the Best Russian Steel Service Center, the Best Russian Sales Network The Best Internet Project among Russian and the CIS Steel Producers and Traders on the Metal-Vision’2020.
