Russian Railway Science Journal is awarded the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) Seal. DOAJ Seal is awarded to journals demonstrating best practices in open access publishing. Around 10% of journals indexed in DOAJ have been awarded the Seal. In Russia, only 40 journals have the DOAJ Seal. In order to obtain the DOAJ Seal quality mark, a scientific journal must strictly comply with the requirements of ensuring maximum content transparency and advanced publishing and editorial practices, assigning digital identifiers (DOI) and complying with a high level of publication standards. In addition, such a journal should: - ensure long-term depositation of materials in reliable repositories; - assign persistent article identifiers (DOI); - regularly upload article metadata to DOAJ; - support the distribution of content under open licenses (Creative Commons); - post information about the license in the pdf file of the article; - allow authors to retain all rights when publishing in the journal; - have a self-archiving policy that allows publication of preprints on relevant resources, as well as accepted manuscripts and postprints in repositories without an embargo period. Russian Railway Science Journal would like to express gratitude to the Editor-in-Chief Alexander B. Kosarev, members of the editorial board, reviewers and authors for their assistance in achieving high results at the international level. |
